Kwiksol - solar collector panel and solar geyser.
Kwiksol Direct Geysers:
The Kwiksol Direct Geysers are designed to be installed in frost free locations where the ambient temperature never falls below 5º C and where the water quality is good (less than 600ppm Total Dissolved Solids/Minerals).
The potable water in the solar water heater circulates through one or more solar collector panels installed outside on the roof, transferring solar energy into the storage tank of the solar water heater.
The solar water heater direct system can be installed as a Split System using pumped or thermo-syphon circulating methods, or as a Close Coupled System using a thermosyphon circulation method.
The solar water heaters direct system, also work as a conventional electric water heater and are fitted with a Kwikot Solar Element and Kwikot Kwiktherm Thermostat. The element is designed to heat half the volume of water electrically, leaving the balance to be heated by solar energy by means of the solar collector panel/s.

Kwiksol Indirect Geyser:
Designed to be installed in locations where frost occurs and where the ambient temperature falls below 5º C and where the water quality is poor (more than 600ppm Total Dissolved Solids/Minerals).
The potable water in the solar water heater remains in the inner tank. Propylene Glycol diluted with water is used as the heat transfer fluid and is held in a separate chamber within the solar water heater and circulates through the solar collector panels installed outside on the roof, transferring solar energy. Propylene Glycol does not freeze and therefore protects the solar collector panel/s from freezing and damage.
The solar water heater indirect system can be installed as a Split System using pumped or thermo-syphon circulating methods, or as a Close Coupled System using a thermosyphon circulation method.
The solar water heaters indirect system, also work as a conventional electric water heater and are fitted with a Kwikot Solar Element and Kwikot Kwiktherm Thermostat. The element is designed to heat half the volume of water electrically, leaving the balance to be heated by solar energy by means of the solar collector panel/s.

Solartherm Direct Geyser:
The Solartherm direct geysers are designed to be installed in areas that are not prone to frost or freezing conditions. They are extremely efficient when installed with a set of frost resistant vacuum tubes. The Solartherm direct geysers are rebateable with the Pacific Solar vacuum tubes and together, form one of our top sellers! A direct solar geyser is a more efficient way of heating your solar water heating system due to the fact that the water in the collector is passing directly into the geyser, rather than through a heat exchanger. The Solartherm geysers have a 10 year manufacturers warranty.

Solartherm Indirect Geyser:
The Solartherm indirect geyser is suitable for areas thatb are prone to freezing, such as Gauteng. In terms of the configuration of the system, there is a heat exchanger that passes through the system. This heat exchanger transfers heat indirectly to the solar geyser. When installing an indirect solar geyser with a flat plate collector a plumber will fill the collector with an anti – freeze solution called glycol. This will prevent the system from freezing. The Solartherm geysers have a 10 year manufacturers warranty.
